Operation Health and Wellness

Mission of Mercy has participated in and served as a partner for the IRT Military Mission and Nueces County Operation Health & Wellness community event over the past five years.  This no cost event is open to the public on a first come first served basis.  Services offered include free medical, vision, mental health care, back-to-school physicals, women’s exams, pharmacy, reading glasses, single & bifocal prescription eyeglasses, immunizations, vaccines, diabetes screening, veterinarian services, transportation, and more. In some years, dental care was offered. Tentative Dates for 2025 are Monday, July 21st through Saturday, July 26th.  Tentative Locations are Mission of Mercy for Optometry Only.  West Oso Jr. High School and Calderon Nueces County Center in Robstown for all other free services.
