Mission of Mercy Arizona (MOM) is honored to be recognized as Nonprofit of the Month by Fabulous Arizona for February 2025! This recognition highlights our commitment to “Healing Through Love” by providing free healthcare and prescription medications to uninsured individuals in the Valley through our six mobile medical clinics.
A Legacy of Compassion and Care
Mission of Mercy Arizona was founded in 1997 by Gianna Talone-Sullivan, a pharmacist and woman of faith who saw a desperate need for accessible healthcare services. What started as two clinics in Phoenix and Mesa has now expanded to six mobile medical sites across Maricopa County, serving nearly 2,000 patients who consider MOM their medical home.
For our patients, MOM is a lifeline—91% of those we serve live with chronic conditions such as type 2 diabetes and hypertension. Without our care, many would have nowhere to turn for essential medical attention and medication.
Overcoming Challenges & Growing Our Impact
While our impact is significant, the greatest challenge we face is securing sustainable funding to meet the increasing demand for our services. With rising healthcare costs and a growing uninsured population, we continually seek new funding sources, grants, and community support to continue providing high-quality care at no cost to patients.
Looking ahead, our goals for 2025 include:

✅ Enhancing services for those with complex health conditions.
✅ Growing our volunteer base of medical professionals and support staff.
✅ Securing additional funding to sustain and strengthen our programs.
